Great to see. My former boss was a great believer in getting our Staff " team" out for a meal or a few jars throughout the working year. He always used to say, "folks who play together, usually stay together". I have said a few times during this Season, that you can sense that this current group of players really " get on". You can tell that they are big mates and enjoy being around each other. The group photo is testimony to that. All together, in good spirits and enjoying a drink in the sun. Let's hope it's a sign, that even though they might get an offer to move elsewhere, like Cauley who has openly said that he has "loved" playing for the Reds this season, hopefully the new offers the Board are likely to make and the wrench of leaving their mates behind, just might motivate some of the players who are wanted by other Clubs to stay.
Nice sentiment but all the above will count for nothing if they're offered £15-20k a week versus their current £4-5k a week
Large group of lads in their early twenties with shítloads of money in a gambling haven... what could possibly go wrong?!
