Realise that Nudge. I was probably trying to field opinion, that if as rumoured Kieffer does go, will we miss him now that we are in the Championship, given his past record.? Regarding Hecky and the signing of players, I remember he complained that he had too much to do before GG was appointed, so he should probably have appreciated the help he was getting in the recruitment process. If he didn't agree with the policy, surely he should have made his concerns known to Patrick Cryne before he accepted the job on a full time basis, or if he felt so strongly about it , he probably should have opted not to take the job in the first place.? It's not that he was unfamiliar with how we recruited
our players from the time when he first joined us as a Development Coach.

With regards to Daniel Stendel . Apparently he's probably got a better knowledge of the German players that we would be able to afford and are now apparently looking to bring in. Paul Conway has said as much in the Chronicle. Therefore, unlike other Coaches before him, it is probably him that is initiating the process of identifying some players, leaving the board to then do the negotiating in the hope of doing a deal. Not heard Daniel complaining about our recruitment policy, so we have to assume that he's very happy with the choices thus far. Conway has confirmed that the way we have done our business regarding new players in the past, is set to continue in the future, so any Coach now or in the future, has to accept the situation.

Looks as though Hecky has a Head of Football Operations at Hibernian. He's wanting any new
signings in no later than 20th June and is citing us as the way not to do any transfer business.

Incidentally, on the subject of Scottish football, the 1st Leg of their Championship final between
Raith Rovers and Queen of the South is live on Virgins Alba Channel 161. I thought there was
something wrong with my telly until I realised, the commentary is in Gaelic with summaries in
    English.

QOS are winning at Raith 0-2. Whoever wins that one , plays Arabian Ian's Dundee United, who
of course won their first leg 0-1 away at Inverness Cally Thistle last night.

I was expecting him to have a pop at us in that article but he didn't really. It is nuts signing players at the last minute but thats just the way football is with the domino effect.

I'd love us to be done asap but it's unlikely. Even Hecky acknowledges it won't happen.

Coutinho probably being moved on because he's been a flop. Suarez also under
threat, but over at Real, Bale who is on £600k per week, is probably OK for another
Season, principally because no other Club could afford his wages.

Man U have apparently told Sanchez that he can go and if he can find another
Club, they are prepared to put up £12 million to subsidise his wages at any new Club.

The football world has truly gone mad.

No idea why so many doubt Kieffer at championship level. He missed a sitter but some of his hold up play was superb for us, massive asset at that level

I think it might be your understanding that works drip by drip Nudge as the way recruitment works has been described in detail at least as far back as the last promotion season possibly the season before that.
You probably need to go and understand a little bit more though as your 1 sentence summation of the how it works indicates you still don't really understand it.
