Watched the second half - thought that the ref was actually pretty good.

Nothing wrong with the referee and just how many fouls were there in the second half? Unbelievable.

They had three in hand after 4 May, and still couldn’t catch us.

I thought he was so-so. First half, I got the impression he'd been told to go easy with the cards. Second half he was better. The downside is that by not booking earlier in the game, there were more attacks thwarted by fouling later on.

I think all this schardenfreude about Sunderland is just not worth it, it serves no purpose. We should be looking forward to next season and its challenges, not what's gone.

Would have preferred Sunderland going up , good away day and they sell out at Oakwell . Charlton not bad for a London trip though

And I am but it's still quite funny. All.season they belittled us and got on about Stendel. Wont need to think about them next season will we,

I'm same I'd rather Sunderland had gone up more local game and would fill our away end. The away support Charlton brought when we beat them 2-1 was embarrassing for a team in the play off places but they can find nearly 40k to travel a few stops on tube to go Wembley. Plus I don't really care for bowyer either.

It’s ‘schadenfreude’ and it really, really is worth it. They never accepted they were where they were in the league on merit. Excruciating displays of superiority and entitlement that have come back to bite them on the arse and I, for one, am taking great delight in their misery.

How dare Charlton go up, do they not know how many fans Sunderland have compared to them!

Same as Conner and Redrum would have preferred Sunnerlan purely for selfish reasons and lining the pockets of our club..
On the other side I really wanna say ...tek that ya overbearing, overconfident, over superior set of North East *****rs…

Sadly no posts about "teams like Barnsley " for you next year, yll ave to be satisfied wi…

" How can we lose to teams like Accrington" hahahaha

Can't believe that just on a human level nobody seems to have an ounce of compassion or empathy for Sunderland. Personally feel for them.
I know there are some d*ckheads on their forum, but show me a forum that doesn't.

I feel for any supporter that goes to Wembley and watches their side lose we've been there before. Was gutted after Ipswich play off final and the f.a cup semi v Cardiff.
