    Pure guesswork, mate. The article commenting about Tottenham's season gave a bit of a hint. As did Liverpool being in the Second Division.

    I worked behind a bar many years ago with a guy who had played as a youth / amateur for Hudds Town. Shankley wanted to take him to Liverpool with him but his mum and dad vetoed the move - "you are not giving up your apprenticeship to try make it with some 2nd division football club 80 miles away".

    Some interesting figures in that table, obviously from a nostalgia viewpoint. Posh getting more in the bottom tier than they now manage in the third; Man U barely making 40k, massive Leeds getting ...... a few. I love looking at old stuff like this.

    Interesting to see both Bradford sides in there and both with higher averages than us. They must have been doing the discounted season tickets for much longer than I remember!

    How about a series of cryptic clues relating to a specific season in our history?
    Might be an idea nobody fancies but there's only so much politics and bogus transfer talk you can cope with.
