Can’t it be as simple as showing all the stand from pitch side and then zooming in - with all the seats numbered.
The current website seating plan operates as tho it was set up in the early 1990s.
Extremely UNproffesional from a business that deals in £££Millions.

If you don’t believe me - look at the websites Lower West Stand seating plan.
And try to imagine looking at it sideways on a small computer screen with a queue of people at the back of you.
    It’s pathetic.

I think you should be able to go to the box office at a venue and be shown the location of the seats you are about to purchase, whether that's on a paper plan or a computer screen or by way of a photo. I think it's odd that you can't.

Fair enough. Maybe it depends on the stand/block and your familiarity with it. East stand upper seems perfectly clear to me.

I really can’t believe the grief that YN is getting for this. He is a customer, trying to hand his money over to the club, and is reasonably wanting to know what the view from a new seat is.
The club should be more accommodating. I back the club up more often than I don’t, but i really think being able to see the view from a seat is not alot to ask.

It was a few years ago when I last chose a season ticket seat.
But I remember on a couple of occasions that I was given a print out plan of seats available.
And then I used to walk around the ground - on my own, just me in the ground trying out the seats (including those in the dugouts).
Then walk back to the office and buy those that I thought were the best.
    It were great.

Obviously with security concerns - that wouldn’t be acceptable now.

I buy 3 season tickets per year. 3 kits, all cup games tickets, South stand parking pass, I buy a programme, 2 half time draws a pound a go, food and drink from the catering. I pay monthly subscriptions for ifollow but I must agree when I go to the shop I feel like I'm being a hinderence getting in the way of their jobs. Tip don't ask for a name or number on the back of a kids new shirt because that is an ordeal. I know what it's like to be busy but customer service is so important.
Last moan is the turnstile operators my 7 year old sons half season ticket last year didn't scan in and I was made to feel like a crook trying to get a freebie as we were turned away as he sniggered that I was trying to get in on an old ticket which I wasnt, one son had got through first and had to wait alone while I queued up in the box office to get the issue resolved it took 20 mins we missed the start of the game.
Customer service isnt great but Im sure they put up with a lot of crap in return.

    Hahahahaha !!!
It’s me chuck - I’d get grief if I offered to give everyone £1000 the next time I saw them.
I suppose I’m partly to blame - because I like a good laugh but I also post serious stuff.
Problem is - some haven’t the ability to separate the two.

Sorry, but I know lots on here like to have a go at YN -albeit with some justification on occasions -but he has a point here. For all those who have criticised him and rushed to the defence of BFC, if his decription of events is accurate, and given BFC IS a multi million pound business, the season ticket sales system in situ is shambolic and totally amateurish.
It is totally irrelevant to say" he could have done this" or "he could have done that". If you walk in to any point of sale you should be able to view the avaiable choices and have sufficient information to hand to make an informed choice and subsequent purchase. The FoH staff are not to blame as they can only work with what they have got but the management within BFC need to sort it as in the grand scheme of things the costs would be negligible to put into place what some have suggested.

It is one of those rare occasions where YN is totally correct in his comments re the professionalism (or lack of) some aspects of 'day to day running' of things at BFC and those taking him to task are out of order.

Just popped on to say........I think it's because a sizeable majority of this board are complete goons. I can believe the grief Nudge is getting. Firstly, it's Nudge and people get triggered by him. Secondly, too many people have the emotional maturity of eleven year old girls and can't handle it when the club is criticised. So glad I stopped posting!!!!!!!!!

    As you were........

I can buy tickets on-line for our matches but i don't. I take the dog for a walk and 15 minutes later i tie him up and enter the box office and personally buy my tickets. It keeps people in work.

It’s a sad reflection of todays world when grown men and women cant be trusted to walk around a football stadium unaccompanied to choose their seat for the coming season, but as the moronic minority who damaged seats in the Ponte in Saturday proved the minority have fked it up for the rest if us. YN is absolutely right to walk away and to complain, the club shop and service therein have been poor for years, as have some of those in duty at the club on matchday. Had an unpleasant experience with matchday staff a couple of years ago having previously been regular matchball sponsors. It only takes one bad experience when a lot of money is on the table for the club to miss out. Its time someone got hold of the club shop, ticketing, matchday staff be they turnstiles car parking food counters or hospitality. Sad to say its a country mile from what I’ve experienced at other yorkshire clubs and its obviously losing the club revenue. No probs with raising it YN you do right pal.
