Thank you, and no worries. I can't sell your sister the cushions, where do you think I'm going to sleep.
Well, I was happy before the signings. I've spent the past few days since Saturday playing with my two grandchildren, in Chester. Now I'm chilled and relaxed.
Honestly, I’ve no idea if I’m happy or not. Pleased we have cover in two key areas but I know nothing of the two we’ve signed (or many of the orhers for that matter) so it’s hard to say that we’ve done good business or not. It’s exciting to see how we get on though...
Impossible to tell. In terms of Moore we have sold an excellent L1 goalscorer and replaced him with potential. It’s a big ask to get so many in and expect them all to do well. If 50% of the signings are successful we will have done very well.
As long as we sign someone, people seem to be happy. The lad from Leeds has only ever played u23s football, how do we know he can play Champ football? Might be a reyt player but we can only hope. And the other lad who has a great YouTube reel comes from the same league and club as Knasmuller. Again might be a reyt player but we have to wait.
Thomas Wilkes Oduor Chaplin Collins Sibbick Bahre Diaby Radlinger Schmidt Anderson Halme Its encouraging that half of our signings are British as a lot of foriegn owners just bring in new players from abroad and it was mentioned that we would sign european players, i think you need a good mix of British and European players and we have that Its a difficult league to adapt to, Im delighted with our summer transfers.
You will be OK in the caravan, It has central heating shower ect. Don't forget you have it for 4 years with the possibility of extending for another year in your favour. You will probably be able to get a better caravan in a couple of years because don't forget about the compulsory keeping a interest in any future sales of your former aboad.
We had a great start to the season last Saturday. But it was only one match, so I'm not getting too carried away. Unlike some of our fans after the friendly game against Sheffield United, where it was claimed it showed up all our so called problems. So much so that they were predicting not only a loss against Fulham, but a hammering. We appear to have a talented squad of players, who hopefully will improve as the campaign progresses and I'll enjoy watching them. If you want to look for negatives, then you'll find them. If you wish to ignore positives, you'll ignore them. Me? I'm loving the ride and sticking to my prediction of a 14th place finish.
I must admit I feared the worst on Saturday. Not because I thought we'd be poor, but just because of the perceived quality of the opposition. I still think Fulham will have a decent season, once they get going, but I'm pretty optimistic that we will too. Onward and upwards, and all that...
