Jordan Williams came on at right back against Accrington at home last season. However, by the time the match finished Accrington were that **** him and Styles were bossing the right hand side of midfield. I think he's got good feet and is a skilled footballer. Those qualities make it easy to adapt. He's also good going forward.
And how many of them do you honestly think we could afford to sign. I’d dread to think how much money they would ask for. Also, there’s no guarantee they’d actually do any good anyway plus none would be match fit to help at present.
Which makes the decision not to sign a central defensive midfielder before the window closed even more baffling.

Many of us said this at the time. It is going to be a struggle without them. We need to look at the shape of the team in the short term. 3 at the back may be an option, to cover our full backs & CM.
There is also the option of playing Bahre in Mowatt's role and then having Wilks, Chaplin, Thiam as the extra man
Doubt that would work versus Charlton. He's not got enough physical presence for me & I think we would be overrun. He's a number 10 or wide man for me.
