In over 50 years I have never been certain of relegation....

    I have feared for it before Xmas but always thought there was still hope, but not this season
    I hope I am wrong but I can’t see any way to avoid it after today and the previous 10 games

    Relegation can be a difficult one to predict. You can be absolutely awful for the whole 9 months, barely win a game, get mullered time and time again, but somehow three teams conspire to be even worse.

    This is a total and utter **** up by the board. We are so out of our depth that i cannot even see an experienced fire fighter of a coach rescuing us at this stage Murray has thrown in the towel & the board are silent. Bloody brilliant work.

    I was pretty sure after the Luton game. Certain now. 9 points in 16 games. Teams don’t recover from that.

    No I was a kid in those days and much more optimistic then. In any case I just checked and even with only 2 points for a win after 16 games we had 11 points (14 in today’s money ) and were 4th bottom. So not certainly down at this stage
