    On e thing is for sure the regimented lan has not worked at this level. This coach has been allowed to bring someone in he trusts (outside the plan)to do a job.
    Surely it cant be any worse....good luck i say and well done the board for finally listening and granting him his wishes.

    All I will say on the subject is if we are signing an experienced centre half - and one the Manager already knows and has confidence in I for one am delighted and struggling to find a negative

    I haven't a problem with signing players from Austria.

    I have got a problem with signing players from Austria with little or no experience.

    Hopefully this bloke will be the answer to our defensive problem.

    Exactly. I think many of us would have been happier with a player known to us in the championship, of whatever country of origin, but Struber has obviously identified players he knows can play his system. In the end he will no doubt stand or fall on how well these players perform, along with the retained existing players.
    He's done well so far & I'm hoping he will keep us up, so will get behind it for now. The big mistake of the season was letting Pinnock go for peanuts, a player whose quality we could not afford to replace.

    We need experience, granted, but we simply cant afford 'championship' experience which comes along with 15k a week in wages, and a 3-5 million transfer fee, therefore we've had to go for a cheaper option. Fair do's .

    Well I've watched all of the highlights reel, so for what it's worth I like the fact he looks to be composed on the ball and quite measured. Not so sure about his love for sliding tackles though.I think more than anything the lack of experience has done us harm because none of our CB's appear to be prepared to organise the others around them. Struber has clearly had enough time to gauge the skill level of the Championship so I'm hopeful he has a good idea that these players have the ability to make the grade.

    People wanted experience and he's got over 300 games, so no problems there.
