Hi all. I ordered my tickets for the Portsmouth game for me and my lad. Unfortunately the club accidentally sent me tickets for Fulham away and now it’s too late to send them down to me. I live in Portsmouth and hence can’t get to the ticket office in Barnsley but can’t deal with the one at Fratton. Is there any chance someone is off to collect their tickets and coming down here Saturday? I can meet wherever in Portsmouth and would gladly buy a pint to say thanks. You would also play a part in helping me stop my son from supporting Pompey
Having made the mistake, the club should go out of its way to ensure you get those tickets. Anything less and it's absolutely diabolical customer service.
I'm not intending to go to the box office, already got my tickets which were posted out, but if you get no further offers by 11am tomorrow I'll go collect them on my dinner break for you and arrange to meet you at the ground. Can you be on the BBS tomorrow at 11 to sort out the practicalities?
I know that at least 1 member of the box office staff will be travelling on one of the official club coaches. Maybe, since it was their mistake in the first place, she could help out, if you give them a call?

They’ll definitely send them down on one of the club coaches, you’ll be able to collect them at the Portsmouth box office before the game. Just give our box office a call tomorrow to confirm. Oh and as it’s their mistake, I think you should make the trip up to Fulham on them.
Thanks mate. I’ll give them a call in the morning. I just don’t have confidence in the system and was hoping it would be an easy fix if someone was going in to collect their tickets.
A few years ago I ordered tickets online to be posted out for Crewe away, which didn’t arrive in time. When I rang the box office they said they would sort it with Crewe and arrange for duplicates to be printed at their end. I just had to nip to the Crewe box office before the game to collect them. Surprised that can’t be done in this case - as said above our ticket staff are usually excellent at sorting these types of issues
They’ve been great and never had an issue before. I’m confident it will be sorted just saw this as the best way to do it. I’m a natural worrier!
This. Can’t believe they couldn’t bring your tickets down & hand over in person. Or liaise with Pompey and arrange collection of replacement tickets.
if you do get stuck, i can pop in box office and collect too what they say about the fulham tickets though, they "could get lost in the post" returning them ;-)
