We have been in worse positions and survived. But club and fans were united. Remember rock bottom to playoffs and promotion season under Hecky. Bottom of the league and 10 points a drift as I remember. As now we were in games but did not covert chances, errors cost us, and luck not on our side. But then as supporters we got behind them and were that 12th man. It gave team added confidence and we started to get a few breaks a put amazing run together. Singing "dont worry about a thing, coz every little thing is gonna be alright"... This team are young. Playing in tough Championship. We are competing in games but not taking chances and errors are costing us. Confidence is low. As a group they need confidence boost, a 12th man. Forget on field performance for a minute. And consider our support. Has our performance been good as 12th man? I dont think so do you... Lets quit the booing and jeers and get behind em! #COYR
Club need to play their part to. I want more communication from them! I am hoping we can stop the rot with a Draw at Fulham, then win away at Hull... to start run for survival...
I think the bigger difference that season was that Patrick signed the players required in January. This lot went into hiding
Trouble is, many of us have gone beyond disappointment with the team and results. It's now all about those at the top making irrational or even non existent decisions. I don't think people will boo the team but they will boo the chiefs. That's where the rot seems to be prevalent.
It's amazing how a promotion can cloud ones judgement. During that 8 league defeats in a row playing 4-5-1 and even a 4-6-0 with Winnall on the bench I wasn't singing "don't worry about a thing". I was shouting Johnson out.

The players have already downed tools. This was evident with that pathetic second half display on Tuesday night. Woodrow summed it up in stoppage time when he burst through the middle and instead of having a shot passed it right to Thomas. Then when Birmingham cleared Sollbauer and Andersen passed it along the back to Ludewig.
Wednesday and Birmingham were our chance to stop the rot and it wasn't taken (Luton took advantage though) Big ask to get anything from Fulham who are chasing automatic.
We are going to have to be 10 points better than Stoke over 14 games to stay up or 11 on Huddersfield ect. As well as out performing Wigan and Luton. I just can't see it. The players have been rather lucky with support in my view. The atmosphere has been generally rather tame most of the season.
agreed, but this time half the team are poor, the head coach is mediocre and the board are worse than poor, they are non existent
Next time we hear anything , will be the usual . Time for new heroes , new season , new manager bollcks
Indeed. Seconds before Hourihane volleyed in a last minute equaliser against, I think, Sheff Utd on the day we went bottom, the Ponty was singi "we're sh*t, and we know we are." Nor were we ever 10 points adrift. If I remember correctly, we won the following game and started to move up the table pretty rapidly.
Your sentiments are well meant and perhaps admirable but essentially I think they're naive. The current state of the club is a complete shambolic **** show. The players themselves appear, after Tuesday's woefully inept showing, to have given up the ghost and relegation is now a virtual certainty. No amount of 'getting behind em' will be good enough. The club is a joke and the owners chief jesters.
In the absence of communication from the owners not sure why anyone would cut them slack. I don't blame the players, they are doing their best. But defensively we are so weak we are competing with a hand behind our back. That's down to decisions taken on sales and recruitment. The board has made every mistake in the book this season - our league position is down to their incompetence.
Then I'm sorry but you are going to be disappointed Johnny. Not intended as a dig btw and please bump this at the end of the season if I'm wrong but we will be relegated.
