    Given the situation. Excellent response.
Not sure what the, unrenewed seats are also now live, means.
I thought rightly or wrongly your own seat would still be available to the end of July. Then opened up to anyone. ?

I didn't renew mine and it's available for sale now. Seems to be loads available, there were four season ticket holders next to me and eight directly behind also available now.

That's what should happen. The early bird offer only ended yesterday. You usually have a month then to decide if you want to renew at the increased price.

All seats that hadn’t been renewed became avail today. I moved mine because of it.

I think that could be a big mistake on the club's part. A lot of fans will have held off due to the uncertainty and if the seat they've always had has been sold to someone else they could very well stop attending

Why they can still buy another seat?

They can but for a lot of people it's their seat isn't it

Thought we would hold off on letting seats go live, doubting we will get many new people on board at this point and probably lots who have already renewed moving seats. As you say could put a few off coming back who were holding off. Surprised we sold so many to be honest, that said I didn't think I would renew but I did, so on that logic it makes sense.

Yeah unless they choose not to renew.

Of course you're right, the reality is some will drift away now they have lost the seat. Given the situation I would have liked to have seen seat held longer. Or maybe even the option of reserving the seat until the end of the month for £20. Not everyone is in a postion to pay out £250 or multiples of that right now with no idea if they will get to go.
I don't want to be overly critical though, looking at many other clubs pricing we have done well.

I would imagine there’s still loads around where they used to sit. You could argue holding off letting other people buy them would stop new people buying tickets too. Catch 22 situation.

Yeah that's true no perfect solution. I also think if anyone reached out to the club they would try and help, we have some cracking staff down at Oakwell.

From Membership FAQs on the club website

    - All seats up for renewal will remain reserved until 30 June. Following that date, all unrenewed seats will become live for all supporters.

That's why I renewed last week. If you are quick your seat may still be available.

Thing is now if you haven't renewed you may as well wait and see what division we're in I suppose.

Was the early bird offer available to new sales too? If so, can those people now potentially switch to a seat in a better location?

Let’s not forget that L1 and L2 decided that streaming games from deserted stadiums was not financially viable. The same may apply next season too.

I would imagine that anyone who hasn't yet renewed but intends to has a pretty good chance of getting their seat if they want it.
