Wonder if they can keep it up, break into top 2, maybe even end up as champs. It's not inconceivable that Leeds or West Brom lose 2 matches right at the death. Hopefully Leeds against us being one of em.
I fancy Brentford to win all their remaining games (unless it becomes impossible for them to get top 2 and they play the kids)
It's a big if, but defeat for WBA and Leeds next, combined with a Brentford win, and the top of the table gets insanely tight. Here's hoping!
Guess only problem with both those teams is that they are our last 2 games. So 12 pts from next 4 matches please Mr Struber.
They've been unspectacular but solid this season, much like WBA - that's usually enough to get you up or thereabouts. I'd personally like to see Brentford go up, but hope they don't need a result vs us on the last day...
Only a few weeks ago people were saying give promotion to top 2. Just goes to show how wrong that thought process was.
But 1-1 will do us nicely. Keeps their dreams of top 2 remote yet their fears of dropping out the playoffs equally distant. That is the state of mind we need them in.
And if I was that fella from Peterborough I’d be watching with interest and if either the top 2 didn’t get promoted I can see him sat there rubbing his hands together.
