Only been posting a couple of years bt had plenty of replies.subjects include music .beer spooky goings on and the usual politics. brexit as well as occasional foooty posts....realised some time ago quite a few on here kno whos who bt av ad likes from most and some slaggin off which is wot opinions are abart..purposely spell wrong tho lol..
I think you just need to stick around a while and join in lots of chats. Everyone is new when they join. I get plenty of replies and I have no idea if people coming in think I’m in a clique or not but I started not knowing a single person and just replied to anyone about anything. The more you post the more replies you’ll get. Think of it like going to the pub, the first few times people will think ‘who’s that?’ but after a while you become one of the regulars and someone else becomes the newbie who thinks you’ve been going there forever.
I spent years just reading the board tbh. People come and go ( a few flounce!) over the years. I think replies do depend on what you post rather than who you are But obviously if people actually know other people on here you are going to reply more to them
You know when you've hit upon a clique, sorry click, day on here .... you look at what you've posted and see it has no replies and only a few views. That's cliquiness. Only if you've mentioned the words "black" or "Conway" in the title, then you'll have a thread a mile long as everybody jumps on their own personal bandwagons.
You say : "'Ere thrice the sun done salutation to the dawn" And you claim these words as your own But I've read well, and I've heard them said A hundred times (maybe less, maybe more) If you must write prose/poems The words you use should be your own Don't plagiarise or take "on loan" 'Cause there's always someone, somewhere With a big nose, who knows And who trips you up and laughs When you fall Who'll trip you up and laugh When you fall
I've been on here a couple of years now and I've felt welcome. If there is a clique I'm not sure who is in it! Like anywhere on social media, in the pub etc... if you say something a bit daft then people might not respond well to it.
Have their been any cliques on here since the 'Dirk Hartog Set' was busted open and it's members sent to prison?
