Is this a cheeky one...or is this football business post covid i wonder? He is clearly not in our coaches plans but will we want to sell him or just get him off our wage bill?
If they want him I'd say its likely that we will agree. Personally I would keep him for a league one campaign.
I thought he'd made it clear he wants a move back down south. Can't see him starting next season with us.
New contract offer and in the team next season for me. He made some errors this season ok - who hasn’t though? I’d have kept him, but he’s right footed, which seems to be illiegal to play in midfield for Barnsley. He wasn’t our worst player at this level and in league one he’s a very good player. If he refuses the new deal, they’ll have to sell him. Don’t loan him to a rival though, absolute madness.
Seemed happy at Portsmouth and if letting him go means we keep Mowatt or Brown then I've no issues with that, but best to sell surely?
Why do people think ‘Portsmouth are a rival”. I can’t honestly see them fighting relegation next season. No, I think it’s safe to let Cam go and further his career with a progressive Club.
