    Not giving any abuse to them but all sympathy has gone for the self-entitled pie munchers im afraid after how a large section of their fans have behaved on social media this past week.

    Before all this I had nothing against Wigan, as I didn’t really care about them, but with how their fans (I know, not all of them) have been recently, I won’t forget that.

    For some strange reason, a lot of them have decided that we’re the bad guys in this even though it’s their spending over years.

    I imagine this will add some spice to our future fixtures against them, if they ever recover properly.

    I hope they enjoy league one.

    I think most of us would usually feel sympathy for the fans of any club going through what they’re suffering, but it was the ones who insisted that they were well run and that we were somehow wrong for wanting the punishment applied that irritated a lot of us.
    Thank goodness the Panel saw sense. This and the Wednesday punishment might make a few clubs think again and lead to a bit more sense in future.

    I wish Wigan well and hope they survive as a going concern, but they're off my radar now. Some of their fans will hate us forever, for all the wrong reasons, but the majority will have bigger things to worry about and we'll be off their radar too. Just as it should be.

    Tiny % of their fans on social media and doesn't represent their fan base. Feel sorry for the genuine fans especially ones who were with them at Sprinfield Park. Admin is horrible - we know that- and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
