Football Tweet @Football__Tweet Arsenal have announced that the club will be making 55 redundancies because of the financial impact of the global pandemic. Yet they'll probably announce the signing of Willian on a massive three-year contract in a few days and still pay Mesut Özil £350,000-a-week The 'Arse' is definitely going to fall out of this game..
and about to sign Aubameyang on £250,000 a week if reports are to be believed. Along with signing Willian on £100,000 a week.
So players on obscene wages won't stump up a couple of grand a week to help out? Not that it should be needed, it absolutely ridiculous.
Kaveh Solhekol (who does my head in due to talking like a ventriloquist with his gritted teeth) on SSN just now offering excuses for Arsenal still buying players on obscene wages. Well I am shocked!
Just had to pay players something like £12 million for qualifying for Europa league from deffered payments.
They all deserve stringing up. Willan signing on fee alleged to be £10m https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...cies-latest-news-miguel-delaney-a9655826.html
Wish reporters would mention Barnsley fc have paid all staff and players during this pandemic which we have.
It’s got to be worth it though to make sure the players don’t suffer on their £300 grand a week contracts.
I agree with stuff like this. Being left wing I think if the staff have no apparent skills and are just there to make up the numbers then they should be sacked. Simple. Footballers deserve lots of money because they can kick a ball really well.. Capitalism rules...
I reckon all football fans should boycott the first football fixtures of the season and if that is successful maybe one or two more afterwards.
