That's what I remember as well. EDIT, it states "If EFL and broadcasting partners permit" https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/tickets/reds-membership-2021/2021-info-membership/plus-benefits/
I definitely missed it then as I would have happily paid the extra had I thought there was a chance we might get all the away games too.
I paid extra this year but mainly for the shirt. I don't think it really should have different names or anything to make people sound or feel 'better' and I certainly don't need it on my season ticket card like it is because it makes no difference I could be wrong but I think it actually worked out slightly cheaper to buy the reserved+ than it did to buy reserved and a shirt seperately. Only by a few quid mind
Just altered it - I misread your comment. I was still hooked into Redhlelen suggesting they were the same price.
Ah right yeah just seen the edit. I thought it was something like £5 so yeah £8 sounds about right. I've always thought that (in normal times) they should do similar things with programmes, even a pie or a pint etc too with all the additions added onto your card.
Yes the reds reserve + was £40 dearer than the reds reserve but for that you got a new shirt and subject to approval a chance to view all away fixtures on I Follow (now midweek only). I only opted for the reserve because I didn't know what the shirt was going to look like. Since bought the shirt though cos i like it. Such is life.
Wasn`t the asterisk on home games for EFL approval, ah well still don`t agree with the two tier pricing.
It was introduced last season. I got the standard one then, think the reserved plus was an extra 15 quid and I cant remember the benefits but I wasjt bothered.
Asterix on both. At the end of the day you knew when you were using that there was a chance for away games for an extra £40 - it wasn’t something added after the fact.
Two tier? It's already multi tiered. We have Ponty End price, East stand upper & Lower, West Stand, OAP's and kids
I've had to double check myself, but there aren't any asterisk's. It just states "If EFL and broadcasting partners permit" https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/tickets/reds-membership-2021/2021-info-membership/plus-benefits/
We hedged our bets. I stuck with the basic, my son upgraded to reserved+. We always watch the games together (he lives at home) by connecting his phone to the telly, so we split the extra £40 half each, in the hope that we would get to see at least 4 away games. Plus he gets the shirt. It felt like a good deal at the time, and it's proving to be so.
I got mine at 13:03 yesterday, if that's any help. Consider chasing it up if you don't already have it.
