Not a patch on yesterday's match so far!

Has it got any better? I know the skill level is consistently higher in the Premier League but it tends to be more predictable than the Championship. I find it difficult to watch any game without wanting one side to win more than the other. Often because of some long standing grudge caused by them beating us years ago.

Just can't finish, some nice build up play and passes from Liverpool though.

Salah just missed similar to Victor yesterday, even the best can do it!

To make it more interesting at the top I’d rather Newcastle won tonight. Or a draw. BTW, have Sheff Utd set any more records this week? I know they had tied for “joint worst start ever to a season” with three Div Four (old style) clubs.

0 -0 . Newcastle keeper, as well as wearing a fetching teal coloured kit, made sone great saves and was MOTM. First goalless draw between them since 1974.

Apart from Leeds the Premiership games over Christmas have been dull as dishwater

I haven't watched much Premier League other than Tottenham or Arsenal. However, I think Tottenham have had a good return in November/ December considering their fixtures. They dropped points at Palace but they beat Man City, drew with Chelsea and a difficult Wolves side and only lost to Liverpool and Leicester who have also dropped points themselves. I think they'd have settled for only two defeats in those very losable games.
