The aim is by end of June. That should give people plenty of confidence that we can have a good summer, those with plans such as getting married should be able to do so without restrictions and Football clubs can sell season passes for August with a high hope of packed stadiums.
They obviously believe Mr Johnson and his minions. It would be marvelous if the beleaguered and underfunded NHS can rise to the challenge and do this. But it would be THEIR achievement despite this corrupt and incompetent excuse for a Government who would no doubt take all the credit.
I’d like to think that the more that people are vaccinated, the less hospitalisations there will be and cases will slowly dwindle. I’m cautiously optimistic for June.
Change of tact by the government. Instead of over promise and under deliver they are going for under promise and over deliver. I think they finally realise what they need to do to get us open domestically with all the mass vaccination centres opening and shutting our border.
Really hope we can have our freedoms back in the summer and by extension we don't have them taken away again next winter. It's just miserable at the moment.
I just plain dont believe that. Both doses by the way as the government seems to be counting half a vaccination as done I dont even think all over 18's will have one shot by June either mind Feel free to bump in July if by some miracle this actually happens but I will be very surprised
If we started vaccinating back in December, won't they need doing again come April/May, considering it only works for around five months...
They are aiming for September and June would be a welcome bonus. From today: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-55694967
A 'bonus' because honestly the restrictions don't affect him and his cronies. They should be 24 hours a day up and down the country. Provided they can make enough of the stuff there's no reason at all why they shouldn't be vaccinating a million a day minimum.
