.. once again this lad changed the game and he is different gravy. His close control, strength and finding space from a tight angle is unreal. Let’s get him in from the start now...
Completely agree. He's got everything and the ball always sticks. In terms of ability he's the best all round striker. However it's difficult to knock Val's rotation at the moment....and they all seem happy.
I’d like to see him start when we’re at home. That’s the 5th successive game we’ve failed to score in the first half, and I think he’s come on at half time in at least 4 of them. Ultimately, it went to plan today, but if saville does better from sibbick’s back header, then it’s a completely different game.
Thought I saw Val bollocking Woodrow in 1st half for failing to keep possession when ball was played up to him.
The little dance he did on the ball in the second half was fantastic ... managed to put in a decent cross as well. Be a crowd favourite when we are back in
I think Morris is better in every aspect than Woodrow quicker, better in the air, holds the ball up better and his finishing is better.not saying Woodrow crap and he,s given Barnsley great service but comparing them Morris is better.
Just hope Morris is content in his current role, he's only getting 45 minutes at most, how long can that keep him satisfied? Tbh, I can prob half answer that......if we go up, I guess he'll be more than happy!
Yet has been involved in 45% of all the goals while he's been on the pitch - whether that be goals or assists. Both assists at Luton
The same Woodrow who was excellent at Luton last Monday setting 2 goals up & playing really well throughout ?
Is he? Thought he was employed as a professional footballer. Wonder if "goal scorer" is in his contract? One of my biggest gripes with football fans is people that put goal scoring orders of magnitude higher than assists. It's really weird. Both stats have the same result. A goal for the team.
Not sure how much you watch the Reds but he is employed as a player & performs many roles , he is a goal scorer but the way we play he has covered many roles including playing behind the strikers & playing out wide . Its interesting that Woodrow attracts stick whilst Frieser , Victor & Chaplin do not despite not scoring as many goals put together that Woodrow has , also penalties , that makes me laugh , its no easy task taking spot kicks , Mowatt managed to scrape one home & Dike missed , they are not easy at all . Woodrow is a vital cog in our wheel & fans really ought to appreciate him because they would be soon moaning if he was sold .
Got to give credit to Cauley. He got played out of position by Struber and now plays in a system that doesn't really suit him and his goal output has dropped. Nevertheless he goes out every game, gives 100% for the cause, creates problems for the opposition and still contributes with goals and assists. It's a round of applause from me.

I suppose it depends what you could a s a assist. The two Cauley set up last week definitely fall into that category. But also rolling the ball 2 yards to someone who smashes into the top corner from 30 yards would count aswell. On the flip side with goals though I've always had a thing about counting in penalties when look at someone's record. Of course as we have seen scoring a penalty isn't always easy. But you could for example have a full back who is your best penalty taker. I wouldn't then describe that player as a goal scoring full back if he only ever scored pens. As a fan it is of course just a bit of banter.to discuss these things but I'm sure those at the sharp end take it all into account when deciding who offers the most to a team.
He's a striker simple as that don't care what anyone says and he's been poor for a month or two simple as that. Chaplin , frieser and adebajeyo are worse I agree but why does he not rotate Woodrow with them 3 and start Morris it might just spur Cayley on to thinking his place isn't a certainty
