That’s all l can call yesterday’s game flick n kick football, When teams try to play us at our own game, they may be able to counter our high press by not playing out from the back, but at present we have no equal at our own style of play we are younger fitter and hungrier. The biggest obstacle to us is when the 5 substitute rule is revoked because that is vital to our tactics by injecting pace and power! until then we’ll just have to endure the often dire winning football.. Ah well !!!

I don't understand all this "they're playing us at our game". We're adapting to all situations and conditions and beating teams.

There's only 5 teams this season we haven't beaten - Swansea, Cardiff, Reading, Coventry & Norwich (but we did beat them in the Cup).
90% of teams are playing more long balls than we do.
We've lost 1 game in the last 16.
We've won 21 games this season - 3rd highest ever Championship total.
We've won 10 away games this season - highest 2nd tier total ever

What are our 1 and 2nd highest win totals, and best away season, please?

Assuming you know and have not done what I always seem to do and see a stat on Twitter or the like?

Most Barnsley stats are indelibly imprinted on my mind lol :)

our best win total was 1999/2000 season - 24 wins - 82 points total
    1996/1997 season - 22 wins - 80 points total

Note - these are 2nd Tier totals

Only player that reminds me of subbuteo (or my losing heavily tactic) , is Collins.

My mate was much better than me and I rarely scored, let alone beat him. It would end up with me losing the ball and all my players out of position, and my keeper would be jet propelled out of his goal to take out a player on the half way line

That was usually me conceding at 7 or 8 nil.

personally I can see them keeping the sub rule as it is, it lets clubs keep more players happy
