It's about the wrongful conviction TWICE of Stephen Avery in America. If you never do anything else in your life get Netflix and watch this 10 part documentary. It is the most amazing T.V. Programme ever
This based on nothing, but a feeling, having watched and read a lot on the case. I think he did it, they didnt have enough to convict him, so fabricated some evidence against him, so he would be found guilty.
nbuk. That's brilliant. "Based on nothing". And "fabricated evidence". Are you American by any chance? You could have been on the jury.
they have a documentary about amanda knox which i watched about 2 month ago and making a murderer has kept coming up but never actually watched it as i thought it was a scripted murder mystery program
My opinion isnt based on completely nothing, there is evidence against him. I just think they thought it wasnt enough so fabricated some more to ensure his conviction.
I think there's a good chance he did it, but if he did it certainly wasn't in the way the prosecution suggested and I definitely can't say it's beyond reasonable doubt. I am, however, sure that Brendan had nothing to do with anything and am pleased to hear he has finally been released.
The problem with the documentary is that it is written and edited from his point of view. It isn't an unbiased investigation it's essentially his defence presented on TV. That doesn't mean he did it of course but it also doesn't mean that he didn't do it, there is actually quite a lot f evidence suggesting that he did indeed do it but it was left out of the documentary. For example the victims personal possessions were found burned in a barrel n averys property. The victim was known to Avery too, he had called auto trader (or whatever they're called in America) quite a few times and specifically asked for the victim t come to his house each time, on one of these times he answered the door with nowt but a towel on for no reason. He hid his number from her and called her several times too. Brendan admitted guilt to his own mum separately to the police and told her that Avery made him do it, his mum broke down in tears asking why he didn't tell anyone sooner and he said that Avery had molested him. That's kept out of the documentary despite other details of the same phone call being included. Now i don't know for certain whether he did it or not but what I'm saying is that the documentary isn't impartial so don't rely on that alone to form an opinion
I don't think he did it, in fact I'm pretty certain the person responsible was Brendan's step father. Brendan has not been release yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A judge has ordered new independent tests of critical evidence in Steven Avery's Making a Murderer case. Avery's lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, said an agreement had been signed by Wisconsin judge Angela Sutkiewicz to start independent scientific tests on several pieces of evidence. It comes three months after Ms Zellner pledged to overturn Avery's 2007 conviction. "It's encouraging that the Attorney General's Office was so cooperative and helpful in expediting these tests," Ms Zellner told USA Today. "Our experience in our other exonerations is that's the best attitude in working toward trying to discover anything that gets to the truth." The 25-year old was found dead after she went to the Avery family car salvage yard to photograph some vehicles. Avery and his then 16-year old nephew Brendan Dassey were accused of raping and murdering Ms Halbach. Dassey, whose attorneys say was coerced into a confession, had his conviction overturned in August - but a court has ruled he will stay behind bars pending the appeal.
