£5 million and a sell on clause would be fantastic business! But it's no good if we don't bring in a replacement almost straight away!

Surprised they are offering that much. £1 million should be enough for us to sell based on our track record.

With a sell on that would be good and give us room to bring in cover for the position. West Brom are a club that will sell on. If it were Man City we'd need twice that much, because they are less likely to sell on.

Considering how undervalued Bree is on this board, this would be fantastic business. I read somewhere someone slating him for his performance on Sat, when he was easily our best player.

What a joke! We aren't entertaining bids of anything over £500k.

Eh? Dont get me wrong I like Bree and think he has the potential to play in a top premiership club, but he wasn't our best player on Saturday, and struggled at times against a very impressive Fulham team.
Not as much as Aidy White did on the left mind but Davies and Williams were both far better than Bree in that game and Id argue Hammill and MacDonald also had better games

If a decent club - and West Brom are a good mid table team are prepared to offer him the chance and us a decent offer Id wish him well and take the money I have no problem with us selling to prem clubs for decent fees.

For me Bree is the one player we HAVE to sell.

We need the sell on clause.

If he goes for compensation we wont get that.

Unless he signs a new deal Bree should be gone by the end of the month IMO.

And I love him as a player he's improving dramatically.

    Great news.
    He deserves it.
Well done to the club in negotiating the deal.
What a contrast between this and the Winnall and probable Hourihane deals.

£5m plus 20% would be a good deal I think. Bree is a good player but he's going to improve past our level quickly but I feel his current ability is replaceable. He'll leave in the summer anyway so let's try and get the best deal in January.

Has Bree got an agent who will look after his wellbeing? I've heard there's a guy called Winton Brown, or summat like, who's out of a job and can allegedly handle this sort of thing smoothly and efficiently.
    Either him or our Brad.

Give over, even Hemsworth Tyke criticised his performance on Saturday.

Mistake in typeing. Of course it's the centre backs that was to step up. The full backs take their postions from that. On the incident I was mentioning bree was in a good pistion the centre backs way off.
