Waiting for the announcement of Ryan Hedges and not aware of much else after that.

Personally think we need an out and out striker but dont think anything is close. Hopefully something will come off late.

Massive game tonight which seems to have been forgotten about.

Chance to get in the Playoffs.

    Come on you Reds!

We are very very light up front. Two actual strikers, one who can play there but it's not his best position IMHO of course and then a young un in Jake Brown.

Bit of a piss take imho.

Do you think these McGeehan rumours are unfounded then? Agree, that a striker would be nice. This Hedges seems more of a winger from the reports I've heard.

I'd say a striker is more than nice, its an absolute necessity, notwithstanding of course needing the right player

I thought we would have been spending a bit of cash on a young striker.

we desperately need a new striker, and IMO we need a big man like an Ashley Fletcher type to contrast what we already have and offer something different

Think we like McGeehan but heard nothing about signing him today other than whats on the internet.

The more I read about Hedges he does sound more of a winger than striker. Think he's similar to Marley who plays both so maybe thats the thinking but hopefully news will break of someone else.

Hmmmmmm, I'll be a bit underwhelmed if we don't sign a striker.

Are they looking at Hedges going RW and pushing Watkins up top?

Could be. Or at least have that as an option maybe. I still think Watkins' strongest position is wing though but needs may must

It would give us that option.

Be a pretty poor window for us leaving us much weaker than when it started if that's the case.

We were asked to judge things at the end of the window. So, for me, if we sign Hedges and nobody leaves, then success or failure would probably revolve around whether we can bring a powerful goal-scoring striker or not (permanent).

Because we were not going to play him? Or did not want to? Might as well give Brown a go - as it stands we will be looking at doing that anyway

We are a bit light weight up front. Oh hang on we have Elliott Lee. Sorted.
