Anyone know whether the current format of inviting premier league/Championship academy's into it is going to continue. Thankfully the final is Coventry vs Luton, and only Swansea's u23's made it to the quarter finals. Hopefully the relatively poor performance of the academy teams, and woeful attendance figures in this seasons competition might spell the end for this particular format of the competition. I also noticed that they've scrapped the 2 leg semi finals as well. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I was hoping 2 under 21 teams got to the final and we would have seen the lowest wembley attendance ever. Hopefully the 21s thing will be scrapped next year.
Ridiculous to begin with. Glad we won it last season before all this happened. FA says it's to get some competitive game time for Under 21s... Remember couple of months ago looking at the line ups of Leicester and Wasilewski was in the first team... 36 year old Wasilewski that is... Stupid.
Hope Oxford and Coventry in final wouldn't mind either winning Oxford because enjoyed the day out with them last season decent set of fans. And Coventry because they have had abit of a hard time of late.
Enjoyed second half of Coventry Wycombe match last night. Wycombe brought Akinfenwa on and had a good go at it. Nicky Eaden on the staff at Coventry as well. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Apologies, I saw that Luton had beaten Yeovil 5-2 on the same night as Coventry beat Wycombe and automatically assumed that they were both semi finals. Yes, I'd like Oxford to win it. I've kept an eye out for their results ever since our final last year. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Likewise, mate. I'd love for them to continue their good form and do what we did last season, the double!!
