    The new server has gone live. Let me know if it seems any better and let me know if you spot any issues. Went for a slightly cheaper option for now but with upgraded OS and MySQL as well as SSD drives so it should be better. Not convinced the problems were purely load based given we having issues late at night when it wasn't that busy. We were also much busier last month from a traffic point of view.

    Like the proverbial "**** off a shovel" at the moment but that may be because hardly anyone is on at the moment.
    Don't think the previous problems were traffic based either because I went on after midnight last night and got the database error.

    Don't know whether it's an issue or not, but I use Tapatalk, and there are 30 odd Newsbot items from 2015 sat on my New Items feed, looking like links to audio interviews with Johnson, Hassell, Mawson (when he signed) etc.
