Booked my tickets for the coach this morning, in a rush as I was off out to a meeting. Anyway, I have a confirmation, with my name listed twice. (I wanted a ticket for me & my daughter) Having asked for clarification on Twitter whether the e mail confirmation will suffice for entry to coaches, I've been told I need the actual ticket. I don't have the ticket, I don't see an e ticket to print at home, and I don't recall ticking a box for them to be posted. Is anyone else in the same boat? Looks like I'm going to have to find time to call at the box office to sort it out. Kind of defeats the online booking though......
Ask the club but surely the offices or shop will be open prior to departure if 2000 folk hanging around.
Your names will be on the register anyways. We only needed to give our names to get on the buses for Wembley, the girl doing the registers for entry on the coach didn't even check our tickets
The names on the confirmation will be in the persons name who's account were booked under. I've got two seats and they both list as in my name. BFC Twitter said when asked if you just show confirmation print out or are there tickets. The reply was that tickets were available to pickup from the box office. I'm sure they'll clarify what the situation is today.
Ok another Question My confirmation says this:- "Your order details Any items that are sent via post would be delivered to the following address unless you have chosen another method of delivery:" Can I assume the tickets are being posted? (I didn't select any type of delivery). I assumed it would be an e ticket to print off. Was there a check box for delivery? Just trying to work out whether I need to go to the box office, which is a bit of a nightmare for me this week, as I live in Sheffield and am working in Huddersfield.
I'm the same fired. Didn't realise there was a drop down box for coach number and just selected best available. Got a confirmation with 2 seats in my name but no coach number. I emailed box office yesterday for clarification but no response yet. Won't have time to go down till Saturday morning Sent from my SM-G800F using Tapatalk
There's nothing on my confirmation either. I'm just going to print that off and take it down with me on the day. There's 8 of us. The very best of British to them if they want to try to stop us getting on one of those coaches.
I've asked BFC_offical on twitter for clarification as to whether the tickets are to be collected, printed or are posted out. The reply 'All Free coach tickets will be posted out'
I've never travelled on an official coach before, so seems the questions I had are (a) not born out of naivety and (b) are replicated across the board. There was no option to select which of my group the tickets were for, nor was there an option to select the method of delivery. I intend to do a Jay and rock up with my 13 year old daughter, she'll deal with it in no time.
There aren't really any buses, Ben and Pat are going to take every one there in their cars, 4 at a time! In all seriousness, wish I could have come to the huge party that will be going on in wigan. Fantastic gesture by the club and I can't think of another time when the club have virtually paid for half the fans that have tickets to get to the match! I wonder if those that are traveling by car will want to claim the petrol allowance?
Hey there is an idea - since the club didnt see fit to run a free coach from Farnham or even London It is a great gesture from the club though and great we will have a sold out away end
That's clearly not true. I've just been down to collect my match tickets and the coach tickets were with them.
Maybe they're posting out at the end of today? I'll not be collecting my match tickets until Friday, if they arrive before then, bonus.
