Said it yesterday - if true then it's terrible business for us imho. Although that seems a re-hash of yesterday's story tbf.
http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.u...rnley_bid_for_Barnsley_defender_Marc_Roberts/ Nothing to see here, move along
Re-hash of yesterday's complete fabrication from the Guardian. Burnley local press have said there has been no approach. Usual bobbins where someone reads summat on a forum, puts 2+2 together and makes 73 and sticks it on Twitter.
A hell of a lot of transfer twitter feeds are made up... 14 year old kids... which most people know, then most of the others just repeat what the one or two.. in the know.. sites find out. A deal is not done until it is done... re Morsy... but this site is one of the few in the know. So id get ready... hope Kevin Long is in the deal..
Does this mean that someone, somewhere has a job that involves reading the main football forums from each club then writing stories based on rumours on them?
IF Roberts does go perhaps that is an opportunity for Kpekawa to step into a vacant central defence slot. That is supposed to be his best position and, seeing as he came here highly rated, maybe it's time for him to get his chance. I'd be sorry to see Roberts and/or Bree depart but if we can bank around £8 million for the pair of them I reckon our outgoings (including Winnall) would give us a decent return. Plus add-ons with all three deals of course - decent return on very little outlay. I know there is the breaking up of the team problem but the solution is simple - others come in and carry on the good work. Why not?
Hecky has said there are no new bids for any of our players, so I think most of these rumours are untrue. If our manager says there's nothing new regarding outgoings that's good enough for me
Aye they all spout in Hecky we trust and then completely ignore what he says. Do they really or not? Soundbytetastic
If these are usually right we're fecked then because they reported yesterday Hecky was going to forest
