I hear a lot of managers saying "every game is tough in the championship" we is mainly true BUT we need to start getting points agaist burton, wigan, blackburn, cardiff (which we did) and rotherham (we also got 3 points). I said at the before the season started that we can't drop points or we will make it hard for ourselves. It's getting stressful to watch us draw with rubbish teams especially when we play better than them.

We picked up a point against both Burton and Wigan while beating Cardiff and Rotherham.

If we could pick up maximum points against everyone, we wouldn't be midtable.

That was a tough game, we edged the first half but they put us under the cosh second half. Definitely a point gained not 2 lost.

We were very lucky 2nd half how the lad missed an open net I'll never know I think even I could have put that away. I agree with you definately a point gained.

Our record against the top 6 is played 6, lost 6.

    It's pretty darned good against the rest, P16 W9 D4 L3.

Therefore, give or take some awful refereeing, I'd say we are where we deserve to be and I'm happy with it.

Not really sure how people can say this is a Wednesday post, hes merely commenting on the quality of the teams not in anyway about the size of the clubs because arguably we are only bigger than Burton and Rotherham, same size as Wigan and smaller than Blackburn and Cardiff

In what capacity are Blackburn a bigger club than us apart from their history that is. ?

Isn't history a big part of what makes a club 'Big'?

Their history, their attendance, their finances, their ground, they're much better known than us.

I don't really think there's any easy sides except from possibly Rotherham.

Newcastle aside most teams in this league can easily drop from been one of the best in the league based on form or a couple of injuries and / or suspensions. A lot is dependant on the luck of when you face a team & the referee (not deliberately) making decisions favourably or unfavourably for your side. Fine margins in this league.

For example we got Huddersfield away when they were bang in form & top of the league. It'd be much better to face them now.

We got Derby when they were in poor form so it'd be much worse to play them now.

If you've got Newcastle in their next few games you'll be happy Shelvey's suspended.

I don't think there are any 'easy teams' in this Division, or any Division for that matter. Any team can beat any other.

Last I heard they were broke, attendance's aren't much bigger than ours on a like by like basis.
