Am I right in saying this cannot be spent on the wage budget as it is not guaranteed income as we wouldn't receive it in League One? Or can we spend it on wages in the Championship?

Don't you understand the difference between SCMP and Finacial fair play.

In the Champ you can lose £36 million over a rolling 3 year period so basically yes, spend the fucking lot.

We could only use it for transfers in L1 as it's not new income so can't be used for SCMP purposes.

SCMP. You can spend 70% the first year, 60% a second year I think on wages. This doesn't include players on 3-year deals that have been relegated.

Spending in the champs unregulated if you don't lose so much.

I will explain it for you rich clubs in the championship are allowed to spend what they like and get in as much debt as the like with minimal punishment. In L1 as their are fewer rich clubs there is an effective mechanism for managing finances.
