I fully agree, but we were playing against a team who many on the board have said in the past are among the best in the league. That win now puts them in the play offs and they deserve to be there. Having said that the score line is not a fair reflection of the game. We won't know but if Cavare hadn't got himself sent off, it could easily have been a different story.! To my mind losing to Wolves, Derby, Bristol City and Fulham won't define our season. Between now and the end of April, we've got nine crucial games viz: six at home and three away. Nothing less than wins against Wednesday, Burton, Norwich, Millwall, Bolton and Brentford at home will do. We could pick something up away at QPR, Hull and hopefully Forest. Next week is absolutely crucial. We have to bring some quality in if we are to avoid the drop.
Nope it certainly isnt. Cant really blame the players, alot of them just arent good enough. Who assembles the squad? The book stops there in my opinion.
They either get the chequebook out or we're heading for League One fast. For what it's worth i wouldn't get rid of Hecky but you have to ask how long they will keep putting up with these results! There's been talk about a new contract for Hecky and yet he still hasnt signed...
But has there been a new contract offered? We are not privy to that. Turn it round and say we'll offer you a new contract if you start winning matches. Different story then.
