SAN DONATO each way at 12/1. Natalie's Joy is by far the likeliest winner of this, but San Donato looks to have a much better than 12/1 chance and is highly rated by Roger Varian. He was second to a very good prospect when running green on debut, and should appreciate that experience and the step up in trip today. Go each way though, in view of the strength of the favourite's form.
I won, completely picked at random and only put the bet on as it popped up on skybet money back as free bet if your horse placed 2,3,4 or 5th. Completely forget i'd put it on so nice surprise when i logged on at 4 o clock to see the lolly.
I always find Royal Ascot very unprofitable. Most of the races are too wide open. I prefer to find the horse among donkeys at the lesser meetings.
This is a football forum - generally. Full of daft people talking about football. But it’s not that fooking daft to be talking about the lowest of the low - the one that’s sometimes called sport - but isn’t - where poor people throw money at rich people.
There is modest money to be made betting on horses Nudger, but it's not easy and it requires a great deal of patience and self knowledge. But beyond that, it is a very rich source of entertainment which can carry those who are engaged with it right through the calendar year. Whether it is a 'true' sport depends on your point of view I suppose, rather like snooker or F1. But it's been around a lot longer than football!
