I could find individual mistakes made by each individual player on the pitch on both sides today so what? M'Voto for example misplaced several passes in the first half, 84% of Tom Kennedy's floated passes to COG are misplaced. All I will say to that comment is do a bit of research.

the Leicester Goalkeeper recently said he had his best game even though he didn't have a shot to save. His commanding of his area and communication was that good the opposition didn't have a chance to have a shot.

 

I tend to do my research by going to games. So the Leicester keeper he commands his area and communicates well but let's 10 goals in would that be a good day at the office? Luke Steele has been our most in form player over the last few months unfortunately your narrow mindedness does not allow you to see that. You just need to snap out of this mindset it's dull and debilitating. For example I pretty much dislike Dawson and Kennedy but can't help but say both gave been playing reasonably well recently with a bring improvement in TKs game. See that didn't kill me. It's all about balance and you have none.

I've seen Steele pollitt Butland Dibble Turner Chadderton Mckay Rusling and another u16 goalkeeper play this season for Barnsley at different levels.

Good to hear whats said at the junior games from coaches to the players during the game.

Like I said the public expression of the listening to what people say will be the POY awards so I take it if lots of Barnsley fans say via that that Luke's played well this season you will acknowledge that and agree that the majority of people don't see your point of view.

 

You don't do yourself any favours Phil. Luke has done more for our club in five games than Frimpong will ever do and for that he gets my respect and support. He isn't the finished article, he has faults but that is why he is playing for us and unless we paid stupid money we would not get a better keeper.

Oh and as for Butland then I will make this prediction. If he carries on playing like he has been for Leeds he will be no closer to the England team than our Luke is.

 

I saw a goalkeeper on Saturday that was fully in command of everything. Loved the way he commanded his area. Anything that went into the 18 yard box was Butlands. At the other end it wasn't the same much to the annoyance of M'Voto
