Decent team taking shape under Robins until Hill took over. Hill did o.k up until Christmas. I think he could have made more use of Hassell, Edwards, Haynes, Lovre and Doyle. They weren't his players though. Panicked when we sold Vaz Te and lost Butterfield to injury and Drinkwater's loan expired. Then had to rely more on the dross he brought in. The rest is history.

To be fair, losing Butterfield, Vaz Te and Drinkwater in the same window was worth panicking about imo.

Quite a few faces there that I can’t put names to. Show me a team photo from the 60s or 70s and I could probably get them all.

Odd that - maybe footballers are less memorable these days

    I'll have a go...

    Foster - Lovre - Addison - Edwards - McEverly - McNulty - Sir Bobby
    Butterfield - Wiseman - Haynes - Steele - Davies - Preece - Gray - Vaz Te - Potter
    Done - Perkins - O'Brien - Digby - Doyle - Noble-Lazarus - ? - Rose

Just the guy between Noble-Lazarus and Rose that I can't at least attempt to put a name to. I recognise his face though.

A couple in there I'm not totally sure of. Rob Edwards I'd have never got without a post on here a couple weeks ago mentioning him.

Keith Hill's expression on there perfectly captures his personality.

Reminds me of the Peter Kay ad when he ***** the ball into some houses and shouts "Ave it!"

Third best side at this level we've had in the last fifteen years.

And it's not Digby, it's Alistair Taylor.

    Reight squad.

Jordan Clark, coincidentally the only player in that picture still playing at Championship level (unless I'm mistaken).

We’d have done something that year if we wouldn’t have lost those 3 all at the same time.

Was shocked when he got released. Looked a good prospect. And didn't do himself a disservice when he appeared for us.
    Plays for luton.
