No word of a lie about 23 years ago when I worked at B&Q there was an initiative for staff called "Winning Ideas Never Stop". WINS. Staff could submit ideas that would save money or increase sales. Each store had a WINS champion, and every now and again, these Champions (I was one) would meet up and take the ideas to other stores in their region. Across the back of the B&Q hoody we were given were the words "The WINS Action Team". I can't print the acronym across the front.

Doubt you get much - it mainly raises brand awareness and the business profile.

CK Beckett for example have probably not received much more business through, but now most folk in Town know who they are, where they are and what they do. They wouldn’t have before.

I'd like that too, but I can't see it, unfortunately.

I think the club/owners will be using the next round of sponsorships to boost the commercial profile of the club and broaden our horizons. Think we're very unlikely to see any local companies. Which I'm glad about, to be honest.

I have heard a rumour it’s a Betting company. Only a rumour though and a second hand one at that.

I genuinely have no idea who our shirt sponsor is now. I could easily look, obviously, but I'm enjoying feeling smug that it hasn't infiltrated me.

Really hoping it's Pats for Pants next season, as suggested further up the thread.

    Bet365.

Recently read something about them wanting to sponsor more football clubs. Im 50/50 on the betting company thing, but I do understand why clubs do it. The company who sponsor huddersfield paid them 12 million for 2 seasons, its insane.
