Would have thought a proper date would have been fixed for this match by now still showing incorrectly on Google search

    Thought the same

Only need to ask the question to both clubs and problem solved

    Prefer Grimsby at time .

We should get a bye if they can't sort themselves out.

I'd rather play Grimsby. Been a while since Harry the Haddock was over. Used to love Barnsley / Grimsby games.

Any team's supporters who carry inflatable fish are at worst harmless.

I remember witnessing their harmless fans at Grimbsy, using the corner flag as a spear and charging over the pitch wall to get into the Barnsley end.

This has been discussed before but Grimsby supporters have a big chip on their shoulders ( to go with the fish) about 'yorkies'. I wonder if it's because they often get mistaken for being a Yorkshire club.

Can remember in the eighties at a caravan site in Humberstone called Fitties, gangs of Grimsby,Immingham and Cleethorpe thugs roaming round the site looking for Yorkies .
Feking cowards as most on that site were elderly or family folk

I was at that game and it was actually a Barnsley fan not a Grimsby fan who had hold of the corner flag. Nasty bunch though Grimsby.

Reminds me of Charlton fans doing the same to Scunthorpe with chants of "We Hate Yorkshire". Scunthorpe replied with "So Do We, So Do We, So Do We".

Or the Notts Florist fans with trees, and the Stoke fans with pink panthers. :D
