    I don't know if it's just sour grapes, but most of the comments about him on Twitter are akin to those we read about Brad Potts. He could have just matured and improved while at Rotherham I suppose.

    I personally wouldn't see this signing as 'exciting times'. Very much 'more of the same' to me: some success in lower league, not quite shown enough at Championship level. Not saying it's a bad signing like, but I wouldn't class it as any kind of statement of intent from the new owners.

    No it wouldn't.

    The day we start recruiting footballers purely and simply upon the basis of e.g. their height would be the day we end up somewhere below e.g. Stelling's team.

    What about playing someone who can run down the wing balancing a bottle of Laphraoig on his arse?

    That'd be exciting. And different. And pointless (literally).

    I’ll judge it on one player at a time thanks. And Mick said he would have a look at Moore and keep him if he was up to it or sell him for a profit if he wasn’t.

    You’re desperate for us to sign someone so you can pretend you “knew” we were getting that marquee signing from Grimsby..... exciting times.

    9 league one goals gets you a contract of near to ten grand a week according to Posh chairman. If that's true we are barmy.....

    We need a target man but this seems a big outlay for someone who's not done it at our level and for half a season in the league below. Worrying too that Ipswich don't feel he is worth keeping. Rather have Mcburnie on loan.
