    If you’re found guilty - there’s no trial unless you can afford to appeal. I think you need to take a look at the wording of the law, kind of broad and vague don’t you think?

    Current estimates from the UK show about 8% of the population have been infected and up to 300,000 still have symptoms for over a month after infection - including some that are life changing. That is roughly 1% of the working population (or 0.5% of the country) - or about 16% of those infected. This is likely to have quite a significant effect on the economy by itself.

    I never thought our country would become so bad that people would be paid to snitch. Can businesses not just be trusted to by shut by ten without so much snooping. Also like everyone knew would happen, the pubs shut earlier so the streets are busier than they would be with people leaving between 10-11 gradually.
