he says that every time. Despite having it pointed out to him he refuses to engage, debate or change his mind despite overwhelming evidence to counter his argument. He’s a pleb.

My missus works in the NHS, she's at the hospital again today, 12 hour shifts she's doing, and not doing just her own actual job, she's been drafted to help with this virus too. So she's in the thick of it. I can't say it sits well with me, but it is what it is and she feels she's doing her bit to help. But the working conditions in the NHS are appalling and are the consequence of severe underfunding.

It's a ridiculous notion that anyone from Barnsley hates the Tories based purely on the strike, or on Thatcher. Me personally, I've a plethora of reasons.

In 37 years on the planet, from my own experiences, the way I see the world/life doesn't marry with Tory ideology. But in this country, I'm clearly in the minority as they won the election at a canter and I voted to Remain in the EU.

    Democracy.

There was a big difference. Labour didn't close pits for the political purpose of destroying the unions. Ultimately pits would close but the mass scale closure decimated mining communities, and its taken EU grants to help get them back and running.

It looks as though the Boris Boppers are trawling the internet and hailing him the saviour of our country and no other politician in our country would have used measures of this nature .
It’s sickening it really is especially when he acted so late and others were begging him to act with stronger measures than his furst measly budget ,

Yes they did, but in general they were uneconomic pits whereas Thatcher basically shut down an industry based on ideology.

Similar . I don’t think there’s a politician put in the same position that wouldn’t have reacted to this .
It’s my opinion that Boris hasn’t done enough in the first place in fact it’s a belief not an opinion .
But he’s not the messiah as some are heralding .
It’s my belief that any politician be it Tory , Labour , SNPetc etc would have reacted to this and to suggest otherwise is beyond bias .

Always makes me giggle when you criticise Johnson.

    "But...but...but.....Corbyn"

Johnson is supposed to be in charge, not Corbyn. So when he makes a complete hash of things, then he has to take the criticism.

Well you know why they closed them then ?
So why make out as Labour we’re doing it for political issues when they weren’t ?
With that answer tbh I don’t believe you no one with inside knowledge would answer like that .
