Step forward Cameron McGheehan His start to his career very much like Connor’s, fans on his back and devout of confidence, every game he’s looking better, quicker, sharper, a great engine on him, box to box and currently keeping Kenny D out of the team. His performance today warranted a goal or 2, we’ll done that man for sticking wit the new role and we’ll to done the coaching staff in persisting even when he looked like a fish out of the sea! U reds
I thought this was going to be about Mowatt when I opened it. McGeehan reminds me more of Scowen with how he’s played this past couple of months
McGeehan has been very good ever since Dougall first got injured. But since Dougall has come back he seems to have upped his game even more. Great game today and let’s hope it carries on.
Same here. The fact that we can get confused about which player is being praised, is a good thing though. Mowatt must be racking up the assists now.
Handball aside he had a good game and probably should have scored. He's nowhere near Hourihane level though so let's not get carried away.
i'm a big critic of Mcgeehan and he has a hell of a long way to convince me not to be, lets not forget we are in the third division but i have to admit he had a good game today.
McGeehan just goes to show what I know about footballers. He was tosh for many a game, playing it backwards whenever he got it. Treating the ball like a hot potato. A dud. Now, he had a stonking game today, following on from increasingly impressive performances. I would not drop him for Dougall (or Florence).
Cam is our most improved player over the last 6 games. He is growing with every game and is developing beyond expectations. The lad has massive potential and congrats to our great management team for keeping the faith and showing patience in the lad. He was outstanding today. Truly the boss of a rough midfield battle. His combination play with Alex ( the best footballer we have on our books) was quality. I really do believe that Cameron will continue to develop his game with us and so pleased for him following his injury. He's shown great mental strength having come thru an uncertain start. It's lovely seeing him grow in confidence. Get in lad. Get in.
I would imagine it takes a while for a pro footballer to get over a leg break in his mind. I think we were all expecting too much, too soon.
