    I would say the board have backed him marginally, unfortunately signing 30 odd midfielders and defenders and no goal scorers is down to the manager.

    In a way im glad i did,nt renew my season ticket this year but i will miss the match day experience we need an all new board and dare i say it a new set if owners mr cryne has worked wonders over the years but barnsley now need new direction to progress

    We don't know if his striker targets are not being sanctioned. I can't believe Hecky wouldn't have had players in his plans.

    It's been clear we need quality up front since January. If we don't get a striker in who can score at this level then it's going to be a long season.

    We can't keep selling quality and replacing with gambles and lower league players.

    But we haven't even created chances in that first half. Even if we had gone out and spent £5m on a couple of proven forwards, they would be feeding off scraps.
