I'm with you lil I watched Bradford P A. I watched 4th division dross but will be there if it happens again.
Quite rightly we are all feeling frustrated at this time, but it's nothing new. We have always faced adversity during my time supporting the Reds and it will be a challenge to finish in a respectable position come the end of the season. I feel that some of the comments in other threads saying we will be relegated with just eight games gone are pessimistic in the extreme. We will be in a better position when we have Dougall and Diaby back and hope the Board support Stendel in the January window by bringing some experience in.
I'm not fussed about Diabi. I think the two lads currently occupying central defence make a good partnership. Dougal will add to midfield, but it's not in defence or midfield were short for me, it's the final third. Whether it's the quality of cross or pass, decision making or finishing, we just don't cut the mustard. As far as pessimism, I think quite a few eyebrows were raised when we allowed our settled central defence and top scorer leave before the season even kicked off. Moores left a big hole in our front line. He was a real one off, and we're missing him like mad in my opinion. Not just for his goals either.
Well said. I agree with both points - but a few bad results and the doom mongers, gloom merchants, financial and footballing experts, come out of the woodwork. If you don't like it, don't come. But look up what the word "supporter" means....
Why can't you identify the players? Can't you read the programme? Do a bit of research. Download their photographs and try to memorise them? Are you having memory problems?
