A bloke filming with his phone enraged the Fleetwood staff!
It’s Andy filming when they shake hands and have words at the end of the game.
He was on Quest filming them
Didn’t he say he was sharply dressed though?
Called him a f##king Scally for wearing a gilet and baseball cap
Quite right. He looks like Tony Pulis’s mother dressed him.
Just to clarify Whitey films every game, he does exactly the same every game so to say that he was the cause is ridiculous, I’ve spoken to him since the event and it’s proper shook him up, he feels sick at what’s happen, to say he incited it is too daft for words, Barton needs no help in that department,
Yeah anyone who's seen the matchday recaps that the club have been doing for a couple of seasons would know that they tell the story of the entire day including interactions between players before and after the game including opposing coaching staffs handshakes (as shown on yesterday's video before the match).
Pretty unfair to suggest such a thing unless it's actually Alan from Lancashire. I'm fairly sure we aren't the only club that Barton has visited where there are staff with video cameras.
I suppose it's in his DNA to dislike and be suspicious of anything which may prove what a total and utter knob he is.
It was tongue in cheek on my part, and Alan didn't actually blame him.
He just said the opposing bench seemed to take offence at being filmed.
I think everyone appreciates what Whitey does. Most folk were poking a bit of fun, at what is an ugly incident.
Fleetwood are looking for any angle to deflect blame. Andy filming the bench after the match isn’t and could never be a justification for assault. Vile b*stards
I think we've to be careful not to disregard everything Barton says because we don't like him and because of his criminal convictions.
It isn't up to us to make a judgement as to whether or not Barton felt he was being provoked by being filmed. If he felt he was being provoked then we have to accept that.
Similarly if Barton says he acted in self-defence re the incident with Stendel. It would be very difficult to prove conclusively that Barton didn't genuinely believe that.
There could be many eye witnesses to the incident but not one of them could prove that Barton wasn't feeling threatened and acting in self-defence.
For these reasons I don't think it will get to court because there isn't a good enough chance of a conviction.
Couldn't you say that about any assault then?
They're clutching at straws with that one mate. As already mentioned, it's just whitey doing what he does every game.
Man who has spent entire life courting publicity gets irked by being filmed
Jog on Joey the Joey, think of a better defence.
Made me chuckle when Alan said he had no idea who the bloke was who was doing the filming. Clearly Whitey's 15 minutes of fame are over...
But at least he has his own theme tune now.
Nice one for giving him your support, over 2 of our players.
Can you actually prove conclusively that Barton didn't feel irked or provoked by the filming.
