Hull City striker Aaron McLean has been training with Barnsley this week as the reds look to add another striker to their ranks before the start of the season. Hull boss Bruce has said that McLean can leave the club if the right offer comes in. Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday are also interested in the 30 year old. McLean has only managed 9 goals in 78 appearances for Hull but earned a move to the KC after bagging 67 goals in 148 games for Peterborough. Whispers from Oakwell suggest that two players could be signed this week. One could be Spanish trialist Lopez and the other could be McLean or Chopra. There is little chance of both McLean and Chopra coming in due to the financial implications it would have on the club and also reds boss David Flitcroft believes that one is enough to complement the current set of strikers that he has. I'm not sure who writes the articles for vitalfootball, but I read an article on there the other day and they seemed to think Michael Chopra is a free agent and doesn't play for Ipswich. "Chopra is available on a free transfer following his release from Ipswich" http://www.barnsley.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=325778#ixzz2ZtO0s54f No he isnt, he is contracted to Ipswich and is on the transfer list.
Well we've already signed 1 this week, so it's going to be McLean, would like that Lopez kid tho, a really do rate him
