Anyone else noticed his body language around the pitch? Sitting back, checking his phone, not looking at the game. Ishmael went to talk to him, but he still didn't get off his backside. Not looking interested.
Yes noticed it at the weekend aswel, just thought he looked relaxed really not sure I would read anything into it.
I don't think he's an integral part of our club so if he's not liking the Val regime and wishes to go elsewhere I don't think it will be much of a loss. But as you say, he may well just have been caught at a bad moment.
Had 2 or 3 stints has caretaker now but keeps getting overlooked for the job full time. Maybe thinking whats the point. Having said that i was too annoyed with what was going off on the pitch to notice anything off it
Checks phone as watching replays on it (was live in Sky) and also communicating with other members in stand who have a better view from higher up. Nothing new.
To be honest I've had a feeling that things are not quite right between the pair, from the first game VI took full charge of. As we commented at the time, our new coach stood in the technical area shouting encouragement and clapping when the players did something he liked. Adam and the other members of our coaching team sat in total silence behind him for the entirety of the game. Contrast that with what can be seen at Newcastle for example. Bruce's assistants Steve Clemence and Steve Agnew can regularly be seen at Bruce's side offering their advice on what should be done going forward. I found it really strange that in the three games our new coach has taken charge of, we've yet to see our other coaches sharing any touchline dialogue with him which is extremely puzzling.
I am not disagreeing with you but I am sure the Leeds manager tends to sit on his own & that seems to have worked well , I just think different coaches have different ways of working & possibly people are looking for something thats not really there .
I wasn't at the game as I watched it on i-Follow so I had no way of knowing what you say is right....
If your firm employ a new bloke who comes in as your boss on more money and hes **** you are bound to be a bit fed up.
Apparently Murray is in line for the Swindon job and wants to be a manager in his own right. You can't blame him for wanting to better himself. I hope he gets it as he has done a reasonable job as caretaker manager so good luck to him. You would think he was the spawn of Satan the way some have criticised him on this border in the past.
It cant have helped when Dame Edna came out with the statement saying val was the best candidate interviewed....ouch....I said it must have stung ......if what's been suggested on here is true then Murray must be really peed off and who could blame him overlooked and in a sense publicly shamed by Dame Edna and his statement ....things are about to get uncomfortable no doubt Interesting times ahead
Sorry Donny, but if there is a camera watching the dugout the whole game and you'd have been watching it the whole game, then you might have a point. Don't know what that point is though as you should be watching the game lol Also, different coaches different systems etc. etc.
Murray sort of admitted the job was too big for him , before Struber came in. At least if he goes to lower leagues he won't be taking Cauley with him!
