    Is he still at the club? I know he got released but didn't Hecky say he can still stay and train till he sorts himself out? Surely worth a Pre Season to see if he is worth a pay as you play deal

    It's a shame that he's made of glass because he's a half decent player when fit. The problem is that we can't risk a contract and I doubt a pay as you play deal would be very attractive.

    I was sceptical when we first signed him but when he played I really rated him. When he first came on the scene at Leeds he was been linked with a lot of premier league clubs. We've all seen he's got the talent but if you can't keep yourself injury free you'll naturally drop down the leagues.

    He's the championship Jack Wilshere, a decent player but will never play to their full potential due to injuries.

    Sad really, but I wish him all the best! He seems a good lad and wears his heart on his sleeve. Really hope he finds himself a decent club and gets over these injuries.

    I think he'd be worth a play as you pay deal if he wanted it. On his day a great championship player.

    Would it be a risk to offer him a 1 year deal on basic money with extra for appearances

    I'd take a punt on that, so long as he can get back to fitness.
    I thought Hammill's best games were when White was on the pitch overlapping as he either offered support or took one of Hammill's two markers out of the equation.

    I think he's a quality player and if it wasn't for his injuries I reckon he'd be in the Premier League. Real shame he can't stay fit
