    Either way, he isn’t playing for U23s as Nixon suggested he might.

    Doubt he would be that far off. Theres a bit of a difference between an Austrian playing in Austria and an Australian playing in Norway.

    Think people do push him for names etc. He will occasionally respond but is wrong so much you take what he says with a pinch of salt if you’re sensible. If he doesn’t know he just leaves criptic and open statements.

    Watkins - off to Bristol city
    Hammill - off to Bristol city
    Hecky - first choice and imminent approaches from forest and Sunderland. Just before both appointed their new manager.

    And countless similar ones.

    As others have said - he is doing his job. He wants people to read his column. But to think he has a good hit rate I’d be sceptical.

    Plus he writes for the scum.

    Good article that. Clearly an intelligent and articulate young man with a real drive to play regularly.

    No idea what he’s like as a player but Australia aren’t a really poor team any more, and Rosenberg are a fairly big team in Norway so must have something about him at 20.

    Sometimes there can be a clause in a contract, or if a release is agreed they can't sign for anybody until the next season

    I think players can only play for two different permanent clubs in a season.

    Seems odd that he reported he was coming in on trial, could even play for our under-23 side, and then a few hours later we can’t actually sign him. Seems like one he made up.

    Alex is form Sutherland which at the south of Sydney. He played left back at Sydney FC (who are the best team in aus). I often consider the gap between the two leagues and I reckon that the 'A' League is mid 'Div1'.
