But how would the system that was all about not getting beaten (but invariably failing to) create the chances for McBurnie?

We perhaps won’t know now as it’s all supposition. I do think it’s harsh to give a bloke 7 games with an absolutely ***** bunch of laikers who have had their confidence destroyed by bad results and. Being called cack by the Coward, when said Coward got virtually unswerving support - and I was one of those giving him that

I do feel sorry for jose, not his team, average players who couldnt score, no confidence. straight into a relegation scrap. Not ideal. I do think it was a strange appointment, perhaps they felt where hes been, whos he worked with could inspire the team. They maybe also thought that being able to speak many languages, used to working with continental players would help us get players from overseas. Reading between the rows, comments and rumours. Us as fans need to unite. Letting in a goal tonight and every one blitzing from the stadium wont d anything other than cause further damage.

Can’t have a serious debate when you’re saying coward all the time.

We didn’t create loads because we are a bottom 6 side but we created our fair share of chances, there’s been loads of posts on here following matches about how Bradshaw, Ugbo, Potts, didn’t take chances when we had them.

McBurnie & Moore are the types of strikers that Isgrove & Hammill have a track record of playing well with.

Morais has been dealt a **** hand I agree, he shouldn’t have been appointed, it maybe a case of wrong man, wrong time or maybe a case of right man, wrong time. I don’t really know. I think he’s made mistakes but that’s inevitable when he took over knowing nothing about the squad or the league.

I don’t think the players have ever had their confidence destroyed. Compared to teams around us I think our lot have shown lots of confidence, we’ve never downed tools & took hammerings like Sunderland & Birmingham have.

We didn't create anything because hecky kept playing Bradshaw up top on his own. His tactics were some of the most negative I have ever seen we went on a run of 9 games without scoring a goal from open play.
I felt for him last Jan with winnall Conor and bree been sold but even when we had robo scowern Marley, ryan Kent, matty James for the rest of the season we created very little and looked very poor.

When hecky did post match interviews he would often slate players or say they aren't listening to me knocking young players confidence and deflecting the blame from his self.

The hammill and isgrove quote is nonsense

And redstar is right hecky team was always set up not to lose or not to lose by many very defence minded. As opposed to having a go.

Isgrove and Hammill played pretty well with Fletcher and Winnall.

In the division below hammill has shown little in 2 season that he can cut it at this level. And when isgrove hasn't been injured he has been hit and miss. Hope they both play today and prove me wrong and get a assist each.....

Isgrove should be starting. Adam given his passion and how **** we are deserves a place on the bench.

I agree Adam maybee tries abit too hard at times but has had plenty of chances over the past 2 seasons but hasn't quite worked. Isgrove should be starting in a 442 would we still lose..... probley

What’s nonsense about it? The best spells of Hammill’s career have come with big strikers who are good in the air. Isgrove has his best few months playing with Fletcher & Winnall.

Bradshaw had to play up top on his own because the other options were Ugbo & an unfit Thiam.

You can’t really have a go at teams with the lack of options we had & the strikers we had, no one to hold the ball up

Give over. Hecky was rightly criticised for playing Potts on the wing.
