I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud by William Wordsworth and little old me I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance. The waves beside them danced, but they Out-did the sparkling leaves in glee; A poet could not be but gay, In such a jocund company! I gazed—and gazed—but little thought What wealth the show to me had brought: For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye Which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils. Chill art..stop ******* moaning.... its unbelievable how short some memory's are Yes we are all feeling the hurt ...but singling out individuals and pointing the finger of blame at Hecky just boils my **** Hes been asked to and is having to make a silk purse out of a pigs ear whilst juggling oranges with both arms tied behind his back The lads themselves are punching above their weight every time they pull on the shirt.. its not their fault if they are being asked to perform at a level where bye some weeks they are going to be totally out of their depths.. The blame lays at the door of those in charge if anything ..they chose the plan they had their hands forced in some cases but ultimately they are the ones who have accumulated these young lads and then asked Hecky to perform miracles But guess what nobody gives any of the above any thought ...you do ... well stop ******* moaning about hecky and the boys and above all lower your expectations . mind you i honestly believe, some on here are not happy unless theyve got something to moan about. Rant over enjoy and dont forget I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud by William Wordsworth I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. My memory is not short at all. I remember just nine months ago when we were two points outside the play offs. Then someone decided to dismantle that team and replace it with what we see now. A squad that will be relegated. I don't hold the manager responsible for this. One other person I do. ******* crucify me.
There are a few things going on clearly that resulted in player sales not least that the owner needs to look after his family based on his terminal illness. Then there is player power and if one wants a move then they will get one in this day and age. Let's see how long Coutinho stays at Liverpool for example. Not a moan but a criticism. Last night showed we do not have the players to play the preferred system and we haven't recruited into it. A tactical error imo cost us 2 points as we didn't have the personnel on the pitch to stem the tide or retain possession and hit on the break. But we have a new team and there is obvious potential but we need to play the system that suits the players and not fit them in to one that doesn't as we tried second half. Had Gardner been available then we could play 4-4-2 but then we have recruited all those attacking midfielders who won't get a game
The people responsible were Sam Winnall, Conor Hourihane, James Bree and Sam Morsy. Or their agents. Or probably both. Later more people became responsible - Marley Watkins, Josh Scowen and possibly Marc Roberts. The owners and/or managers of clubs of our size have no chance in the face of player power and money men power.
I dunt reckon much to that new last verse. "Stop ******* moaning" seems incongruous with the Romantic style.
Tend to agree with most of that. I think the sticking point for most is that last Jan we could have said to Winnall and Hourihane sorry lads we are having a crack at these play offs, we have a outside chance. We are not desperate for the 4/5 mil we are going to gamble. Now I admit that its easy to say that as a fan with no involvement or responsibility for the running of the club. Those in charge took the cautious approach and said we aren't going to go up and they will all leave anyway so not worth the gamble. But for me we have to at least admit that is the choice that was made and it was a choice.
